FAQ: How Many Start Ups Are There? That all depends on the time of year.  In the Summer months you can expect around 8,000 start ups (first time in business) every month.  During this Winter this can drop to around 3,000 sites a month.  These are national figures including Northern Ireland.

If you like we can go back further than the latest month, in fact we can go back six years!  All of the records will be verified prior to supply to ensure that they are still trading.

The actual volume also depends on the type of business and geographic areas that you want to target - there are over 2,700 business types to target.  If you use the above form we will be more than happy to run the latest figures for you.
